a. ACCESS
The main access is by flight to Jayapura and then to Wamena. There are flights every day from Jakarta/Bali to Jayapura and onto Wamena.
b. BALIEM VALLEY FESTIVAL
The Baliem Festival this year will be held on 6, 7 and 8th August. It is a cultural festival where the tribes living near Baliem Valley are gathered and show peoples their tribal attraction / festivity such as war dance, pig cooking, traditional music, pig race, etc.
The festival usually attended by hundreds of peoples (local tribes), all of them come with their own traditional costume such as head cover, tattoo, spear, grass skirt, penis gourd, etc.
c. OUR ARRNGEMENT
On the end of our message is the program / arrangement for you. Our program is open for changes, or adjustment, and we are open for discussion. Please feel free to advise us should you need any more info from us.
Special Travel Permit
Surat Jalan is part of the service we provide for you. We need about 2 working days to arrange the travel permit. To make the special travel permit, we need you to provide the following materials
1. Passport copy
2. Photograph 4 x 6 (Passport size) – 3 pieces (you are welcome to send it via attached email in JPG FORMAT)
3. Visa Copy
You can either send us the material number 1 and 2, then number 3 can be given to us upon your arrival in Indonesia. You can give us in Bali or in Jakarta, we have offices there.
Below on the end of this message is our tour program for you. Please study them thoroughly and please do not be hesitate to let us know should you have any question or need more information. They are not a tough one, any healthy people can do the trek.

Descriptive day today itinerary:
DAY 01 : ARRIVAL WAMENA – HOTEL
Upon arrival in Wamena then pick up service by our guide team then transfer to Hotel or similar hotel available.
DAY 02: WAMENA – BALIEM VALLEY FESTIVAL (B,L-Box)
After breakfast then we will drive to Baliem Festival. You will enjoy the festival with the local tribes. After the festival back to hotel for overnight at Baliem Pilamo Hotel for overnight. Dinner at local restaurant/hotel at your personal account.
** We provide Lunch Box only
DAY 03: TREKKING ALONG BALIEM RIVER / Sogokmo - Kurima - Wamena (B,L-Box)
After having breakfast, you will be transferred by car within 35 minutes to Sogokmo in the South of Baliem valley. Then start to have a day trek for about 4 - 5 hours to Wesaput passing thru Dani sweet potatoes gardens and cross hanging bridge over Baliem river. Along the trail you will see the local people activities and enjoy the beauty scenery as well. Lunch box will be provided en route. The car will pick you up and then transfer to your hotel at Baliem Pilamo or similar hotel available. Dinner on your own and overnight stay at hotel.
** We provide Lunch Box only during trekking only
DAY 04: WAMENA DEPARTURE – NEXT DESTINATION (B)
After breakfast at the appropriate time transfer to airport to catch your flight to Jayapura. TOURS END.

VERY IMPORTANT:
- The above program is outline program only and subject to change with or without prior notice due to the weather, the conditions of the wave and any circumstances. In any case the guide has the RIGHT to change the program for the safety and convenient reason for our guest.
- This package excluded expenses incurred due to the causes beyond our control (force majeure). Expenses also incurred due to the flight cancellations, delays or change in packages itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances that may include flight, ferry, land transfers schedule change and bad weather conditions are not covered by Adventure Indonesia. Adventure Indonesia will assist in the rescheduling of all flights & organizing suitable accommodations, transport, etc. but ALL COSTS are to be covered by you if the circumstances occur.
