The easiest way to get to Jinhae is bus. There are several services a day from Seoul's Nambu Terminal, this takes about 4 hours and costs around 25000 won. Jinhae can also be reached directly by bus from Daegu, Ulsan and Busan. Buses to/from Busan run every 15 minutes, costs 5100 won and take 45 minutes to an hour. These buses start at Busan's Seobu terminal in Sasang (subway line no.2/Busan-Gimhae light rail) and call at Hadan (subway line no.1) before heading to Jinhae. There are a couple of train stations in Jinhae (Jinhae and Gyeonghwa) although trains only run here from Changwon during the festival).
Another option is to take a bus or train to Changwon, and then take local bus 151 to Jinhae. For this, it helps to know some Korean, and to have keen eyes to find the bus stop, which is located to the right of the entrance of Changwon bus terminal and around the corner. If you choose this option, you will want to get off at the Jinhae high school bus stop.
For specific directions from airports: Incheon Airport Travel from Incheon Airport to Changwon by express bus and then catch a bus or taxi to Jinhae. Travel time is approximately 5H30.
Gimpo Airport Take the subway from Gimpo Airport to Express Bus Terminal (Line 9) then change onto line 3 and alight at Nambu bus terminal. From here take the express bus to Jinhae. Travel time is approximately 5H30.
